Takamaka

The Seychelles may not be among the biggest and best-known rum producers, but on this unusually beautiful paradise island near the equator, we find Takamaka Rum, which makes both rum and liqueur at the Trois Freres Distillery. Takamaka Rum was founded in 2002 by local brothers, Richard and Bernard d’Offay, who wanted to create a rum that captures the soul of the Seychelles. Takamaka is now available in more than 35 markets worldwide, and thanks to their innovation and quality, they are growing rapidly and have also won many prestigious awards. In fact, Takamaka's Master Blender, Steven Rioux, was also named Blender of the Year 2024 by The Spirits Business Awards. At the time of writing, we carry both varieties of Takamaka rum and liqueurs in our assortment.
