Ardbeg Wee Beastie 5-year-old Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky is, at the time of writing (2021), the latest permanent addition to Ardbeg Distillery's Ultimate Range. Ardbeg Wee Beastie is a fiery and younger 5-year-old whisky, crafted with the aim of creating the rawest and most smoky Ardbeg ever. The "mere" 5 years in the cask make the whisky rawer, as longer aging in the used ex-bourbon casks and Oloroso sherry casks would round off the taste. Ardbeg Wee Beastie has an aroma of black pepper, pine resin, and peat smoke, among other things. The taste includes notes of peat smoke, chocolate, creosote, and tar. 47.4% - 70 cl.
