This Autentico Nativo Overproof Rum is distilled at Destilería Las Cabras in Panama, where Don Pancho is now based. The rum is also aged in Panama for 8-10 years in used American whiskey barrels. Subsequently, it is transferred to new barrels that previously contained natural cocoa extract, which imparts a unique character to the powerful rum. Autentico Nativo Overproof Rum has a distinct note of chocolate\/cocoa, as well as notes of caramel, burnt sugar, and ripe fruit.
