Loch Lomond Peated Single Grain Whisky
Loch Lomond Peated Single Grain Scotch Whisky is crafted exclusively from heavily peated malted barley in the malt room at the Loch Lomond Distillery. It is then matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and virgin casks, imparting a smooth, fruity character with creamy vanilla and hints of smoke.
Upon first nosing this whisky, you are greeted by inviting notes of clove, vanilla, and blackcurrant. On the palate, a sweet and tart peat flavor unfolds, harmonizing beautifully with nuances of green apple, lime citrus, and anise. After each sip, you are left with a crisp, dry finish, where a distant hint of peat smoke lingers on the palate.
Loch Lomond Peated Single Grain Scotch Whisky won gold at the WSC in 2023 and the IWSC in 2021, and silver at the IWSC in 2022. 46% - 70 cl.
