Denne helt særlige Planteray Oceana Australia Vintage 2016 er en Limited Edition udgave og én af kun i alt tre flasker i Vintage Collection No. 4 udgivelsen (de øvrige to er Fiji Islands og Mauritius). Planteray Vintage Collection serien hylder rom fra fjerne øer og områder, og den byder på dobbeltlagret rom, der har fået en tropisk lagring på bourbonfade efterfulgt af kontinental lagring på Ferrand cognacfade.

Planteray Oceana Australia Vintage 2016 er en 10 års rom, der er lavet på melasse og kolonnedestilleret i Australien, hvor den har fået 8 års tropisk lagring på bourbonfade, inden de i alt 12 fade har fået yderligere 2 års kontinental lagring i Frankrig på Ferrand cognacfade. Slutresultatet er en blød, varm og indbydende rom med duft af vanilje, toffee, fersken, abrikos, moden banan og sød mandel. Smagen er silkeblød med guava, ananas, mælkechokolade, ristet kokos og citrusskal. Eftersmagen er lang med mineralsk tørhed, let tannin, tropisk frugt, kakao, kanel og muskatnød.

Bemærk: 6 gram sukker/liter, hvilket er en lille smule tilsat sødme. Limited edition - 52% vol.
