The first 2 editions of the Distillery Series Rum from Romdeluxe quickly sold out, and now they are ready with the 3rd edition. Distillery Series Rum No. 3 was distilled at a secret distillery founded in 1884 in Queensland, Australia, and it is actually Australia's oldest distillery still in operation.
Distillery Series Rum No. 3 Australia is molasses-based and was distilled in 2007 in old, traditional pot stills. Subsequently, this rum from cask #34 was aged in used bourbon barrels until bottling in April 2024. The 16-year-old rum bears the mark "MAIC", which roughly corresponds to the "inner circle" of Australian rum. 10 years of the aging took place in Australia, and 6 years took place in Europe.
Due to the production process and alcohol content, the aroma and taste are intense, rich, spicy, and full of character. Romdeluxe Distillery Series Rum No. 3 Australia rum is bottled in only 262 bottles at full cask strength of 66.2% ABV. 70 cl.
