Ron Sostenible 8 Year Rum
Ron Sostenible 8 Year Old Rum is a dark, Dominican rum made from locally grown Dominican sugarcane. The remaining biomass from the sugarcane is used as fuel at the distillery, and the CO2 released during the fermentation process is captured and reused as fizz in soft drinks. After distillation, Ron Sostenible 8 Year Old Rum has matured for 8 years in a tropical climate in ex-bourbon barrels. The rum is then transported 100% climate-neutrally to Europe by sailing ship across the Atlantic. After the voyage, the rum is bottled in 96% recycled glass bottles with cotton labels. Ron Sostenible 8 Year Old Rum is an easy-drinking, complex, and delicious rum with aromas and flavours of spicy oak, orange peel, vanilla, and caramel. Medium sweet rum. 40% - 70 cl.
