Rum Nation Rare Rums Belize 2008 Cask No. 10 is a 17-year-old single cask rum, bottled exclusively for Denmark. The rum is produced at the Traveller's distillery in Belize, where it was first tropically aged for 5 years in an ex-bourbon cask, before being finished in a temperate climate for 12 years.
Rum Nation Rare Rums Belize 2008 has an aroma of coconut, tropical fruits and molasses, while the taste offers vanilla, coconut and almonds. The single cask (cask no. 10) yielded a total of 290 bottles of rum, bottled at cask strength.
NOTE: The back label erroneously states that the rum was aged 5 + 2 years, but the truth is 5 + 12 years, as written in our text.

Rum Nation was founded by Italian Fabio Rossi, who released his first rum in 1999, and Rum Nation is a so-called "independent bottler," as is also the case with, for example, Planteray (formerly Plantation).
