Rum Nation Demerara No. 14 Solera rum has matured in used American bourbon casks and finished in old Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. Nose: Very harmonious, in addition to the primary molasses scent, there are many nuances of mocha, vanilla, and nuts. Taste: The alcohol is quite persistent; a fresh mocha nuance gently underlies the aroma of vanilla and nuts. Aftertaste: Dry with scents of wood, fading into the typical sweetness of sugarcane and molasses. Rum Nation Demerara Solera No. 14 has a good balance between spices and sweetness. A good rum for the price if you like it semi-sweet. 40% 70cl.
