SBS Venezuela 2006 rum is a single cask rum from Venezuela, made from molasses and column distilled back in 2006. After distillation, the rum was aged in ex-bourbon and Madeira casks until bottling in January 2023, where it was bottled at a cask strength of 52%. SBS Venezuela 2006 rum has aromas of dark forest berries and molasses. The taste is dry with pronounced notes from the Madeira cask, followed by notes of burnt sugar and caramel. SBS Venezuela 2006 rum is non-chill filtered and has no added sugar, colouring, or other additives. This rum is a limited edition of just 334 bottles, bottled exclusively for the Danish market. 52% - 70 cl.

SBS stands for Single Barrel Selection, and this series of rums is produced by the Danish rum importer, 1423 ApS, who are also behind brands such as Ron Esclavo. The SBS Rum releases are generally unsweetened (without added sugar), non-chill filtered, and at a higher alcohol strength (some of the SBS rum bottlings are even bottled at cask strength).
