Thy Western Sea Danish Single Malt Whisky
This very special Vesterhav Single Malt Thy Danish Whisky is a limited edition with a total of only 3,450 bottles for the global market. The inspiration for the name on the bottle naturally comes from the frothing North Sea, which is close to Thy Whisky Distillery, and the maritime and slightly salty notes in the whisky align well with the name.
The key elements of the Vesterhav edition are bourbon barrels and mild peat smoke. The whisky is composed of ex-bourbon barrels that were filled in the period 2017-2021, meaning the age ranges from 4.5 years to 8 years. In addition, the following malts were used: pale, peat-smoked malt, beech-smoked malt, and imperial barley malt.
Thy Vesterhav Danish Single Malt Whisky has notes of peat smoke, citrus, sea salt, light fruit, vanilla, and warm spices. 50% - 70 cl.
