Tomatin Portuguese Trio Moscatel Casks Single Malt Whisky
Tomatin Portuguese Trio Moscatel Casks Whisky is one of three limited edition whiskies from the Tomatin distillery, aiming to express the unique influence that different types of Portuguese wine casks can have on whisky. Tomatin Portuguese Trio Moscatel Casks is aged for 8 years in Scottish oak whisky casks and then for 7 years in former Moscatel de Setúbal casks. This results in sweet aromas of marmalade, honey, and salted caramel with a hint of citrus in perfect balance with ginger and star anise on the palate. A sweet whisky with a long-lasting dessert wine finish. The whisky is bottled at 46% and comes in a 70 cl bottle.
