Bowmore 23 Year Old Port Cask Matured is produced using traditional methods, which means, among other things, that they have maintained floor malting of the barley and exclusively use local peat for drying the barley. The distillery's famous vaults are located below sea level, where various selected casks are stored until they are ready for bottling. Bowmore 23 Year Old Port Cask Matured Whisky was distilled in 1989 and bottled in 2013 after 23 years in port wine casks. This is a limited release edition. Bowmore 23 Year Old Port Cask Matured Whisky has notes of blood oranges, truffles, walnuts, plums, dark chocolate, smoke, and sea salt, among others. 50.8% – 70cl.
