Don Papa Quincentennial Edition Small Batch 2025 Release Rum
Historically, only 500 bottles per year of this unique Don Papa Quincentennial Edition Small Batch Rum have been produced. This special release is a celebration of the 500th anniversary of the first circumnavigation of the globe and the first landing in the Philippines, initiated by the Portuguese navigator Ferdinand Magellan.
Don Papa Quincentennial from the Philippines is a double-aged rum, first matured for two years in bourbon casks, and then finished for 5 years in used port wine casks on the island of Negros. The port wine casks impart plenty of fruit and sweetness to the rum.
When tasting this Don Papa Quincentennial Edition Small Batch 2025 Release rum, one can discern notes of red berries, citrus, vanilla, and tropical fruits, among others.
Please note: for the sake of clarity, it should be mentioned that in 2025, the production volume has been significantly increased to 18,800 bottles for the global market, and therefore the price has also been adjusted to DKK 4,995 from the original DKK 7,995 it previously cost.
