Romdeluxe Guadeloupe Red Cane New Make Rum
Guadeloupe Red Cane from Danish Romdeluxe is a "new make" white rum, unaged, presented at full distillation strength. It is a rum made from fresh sugarcane juice. The juice comes from 3 different types of red sugarcane, which grew on a mountainside with volcanic soil, and has therefore absorbed flavour from it. Each of the three types of sugarcane has been pressed, fermented, and distilled in a column still.
It comes from the Montebello distillery, and is their premium blend, representing the absolute best they can produce. The finished rum is finally blended by their skilled master blender. The result of this great work is in this bottle.
The aroma of this drink is dominated by freshly cut grass, accompanied by notes of citrus and ripe fruits. On the palate, one can taste an earthy and slightly salty profile, supplemented by a tart blackcurrant note and concluding with a warm, fruity aftertaste. It packs a punch with a distillation strength of 83% ABV. 70 cl.
