To get the most out of your fruit slices and spices, we recommend following a few simple steps.
1. Choose a large glass with a large surface area. This allows the aromas to reach your nose more easily.
2. Fill your glass with plenty of ice cubes and swirl them around to chill the glass.
It is important to have plenty of ice in your gin and tonic. When there is a lot of ice, your drink cools better and longer.
This means less water melts into the drink.
3. Place your fruit slices and spices between the ice cubes and add your gin.
4. Swirl the ice cubes, gin, and your garnish around in the glass again - for as long as you can resist your thirst.
This releases oils and aromas from the fruit slices, allowing them to infuse the gin and the glass.
5. Add your tonic very slowly.
6. Let the flavors distribute for a minute.
