The Macallan 18 Year Old Sherry Oak Cask 2026 Release Single Malt Whisky has acquired its flavour and character from at least 18 years of maturation in former sherry casks. The whisky has a light mahogany colour.
The aroma offers notes of sweet pastry with candied ginger, candied raisins and sultanas with a hint of orange and ground cinnamon. The taste is soft and full-bodied with notes of ginger coated in dark chocolate, dates and dried apricots, all harmoniously balanced by nuances of oak and a sweetness from vanilla. It concludes with a long-lasting finish characterized by dried fruit, ginger and oak.
