Martha's Moscatel do Douro is made from 100% Moscatel Galego grapes, characterized by its golden color and powerful floral aromas, leaving luxurious flavors of honey and orange on the palate.
It reveals itself with a distinct aromatic scent, where notes of orange and honey are clearly prominent. Upon first taste, the palate is filled with the delicious flavors of orange and honey, complemented by a well-balanced acidity that adds freshness.
It is generally consumed at room temperature as a dessert accompaniment or chilled as an aperitif, but its versatility allows you to create amazing drinks.
Martha’s Wine & Spirits was established in 1727 in the Douro Valley in Portugal by the Martha family with their first vineyard. Initially, the family only produced grapes that were sold to other winemakers, but six generations ago, they began their own port wine production. They handle everything from harvest, production, bottling, and commercialization themselves. They are what one might call a field-to-bottle company.
Today, they have a wide selection of primarily port wine, but moscatel is also included in their range. There is undoubtedly a port wine for everyone in Martha’s series. 17% - 75 cl.
