Ouzo 12
Ouzo 12 is a classic Greek anise-flavored liqueur and probably the most famous drink in Greece. The name dates back to 1880, when it was named after cask #12 at the Kaloyannis distillery, and since then, the traditional drink has not looked back.
The aroma of Ouzo 12 is delicate, and the taste has notes of anise, citrus, and spices. It is typically used as an aperitif, where it can be diluted with water or served over ice. It can be enjoyed with, among other things, olives.
