Patridom Selección Exclusiva Islay Cask Finish
Patridom Seleccion Exclusiva is based on both molasses and fresh sugar cane juice. After distillation, this "premium spirit drink" has matured in American and French oak barrels in a tropical climate in the Dominican Republic. The aging takes place for between 6 and 12 years, after which it has undergone a secondary aging in Denmark in Islay whiskey barrels. Patridom Selección Exclusiva Islay Cask Finish has, with the secondary aging in Islay casks, acquired intense aromatic notes of smoke, barbecue, and burnt caramel, which gradually develop into notes of sweet nougat. The taste is first smoky and then sweet with hints of hazelnut, syrup, and vanilla, ending in a slightly woody finish. Limited 2022 edition of 1976 bottles. 42% - 70 cl.
