Arran Quarter Cask Single Malt Whisky
After distillation, The Arran Quarter Cask "The Bothy" Single Island Malt Whisky is aged for 7 years in first-fill ex-bourbon casks, followed by an additional 2 years of maturation in 125-litre Quarter Casks. When aged in smaller casks, there is more contact with the oak, and the maturation becomes more intense. The Arran Quarter Cask Whisky has a rich, oily flavour with a taste and aftertaste of citrus, cinnamon, sweet vanilla, honey, pineapple, and coconut, as well as plenty of freshly ground pepper. The Arran Quarter Cask "The Bothy" Single Island Malt Whisky is bottled at cask strength, has only natural colour, and has not been chill-filtered. 56.2% - 70 cl.

The Isle of Arran whisky distillery is a relatively new distillery, established in 1995, and it is located – as the name suggests – on the Isle of Arran, a very scenic area southwest of Glasgow. The Arran single malt whisky is primarily matured in ex-bourbon casks made of American white oak and sherry casks made of European oak.
