Thy Spelt-Rye Danish Whisky
Thy Whisky started as a family-owned company in 2010, and the distillery is currently still run as a family business. Thy Whisky uses grain from its own organic fields, has designed its very own malting system, and uses a completely unique "single distillation" process to preserve as much malt and grain aroma as possible.
This Thy "Core Expression" Spelt-Rye Danish Malted Rye Whisky is based on their own rye, wheat, and barley, inspired by the Danish love for rye and rye bread. The grain is malted at the family farm, and the whisky is aged in new American oak barrels.
Thy Spelt-Rye Whisky is balanced, full-bodied, fruity, spicy, and floral with notes of vanilla, pink peppercorns, caramel, citrus, and heather blossoms.
Single Estate organic whisky. Non-chill filtered and natural colour. 48.5% - 70 cl.
