The blend of the two casks is 80% first-fill Ex-Bourbon casks and 20% STR red wine casks to add another dimension to the whisky. This is an interesting variation of Kingsbarns' normal distillery style by increasing the STR influence. This introduces several notes of warm spices, red fruits and even some chocolate notes to the whisky.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eKingsbarns Falkland is a special single malt whisky with a rich and varied flavour profile.
