Maison Champy 2023 Burgundy Chardonnay
Bourgogne Chardonnay "Cuvée Edme" white wine is made from hand-harvested grapes from the classic French wine regions of Puligny, Meursault and Rully. After fermentation, the white wine spends 10 months in barrels, 30% of which are new French barriques. Chief oenologist Dimitri Bazas has selected Chardonnay from the 30 best barrels for the Signature range.
The white wine is harmonious and has the classic Chardonnay character from the Côte d'Or beautifully combined with the floral elegance so typical of the Côte Chalonnaise. An unusually inviting Chardonnay note. Region/type: Burgundy white wine, France. Vintage: 2023.
