Patridom XO Cognac Cask Finish is the 2022 edition of 1423's Patridom series of sugarcane spirits, each with its own expression. The distillery behind it, Alcoholes Finos Dominicanos, uses only its own local sugarcane for production and is one of the world's most environmentally friendly and socially responsible distilleries. Patridom XO is a "premium spirit drink" made from both fresh sugarcane juice and molasses. After distillation, it has aged in a tropical climate for 12-15 years in American and French oak barrels. Patridom XO Cognac Cask Finish then received a finish in Denmark in former cognac casks, which has given it an extra fruity character. This sugarcane spirit has aromatic notes of pear and yellow plums with a hint of cream and vanilla. The taste is round and fruity with notes of apple compote, almonds, and honey, leading to a mild aftertaste. Limited 2022 edition of 1373 bottles. 43% - 70 cl.
