Penderyn Rich Oak Single Malt Welsh Whisky is matured in specially selected ex-bourbon and ex-wine casks, which have been "STR" treated (Shaved, Toasted, and Recharred) to impart more character to the whisky.
When nosing this Penderyn Rich Oak whisky, fine notes of dark chocolate, cinnamon, pepper, green apples, mango, banana, and guava are perceived. The taste is rich and complex with hints of vanilla, oak, cinnamon, nuts, and toffee.
