Ron Cueva Sueno Del Chagres 25 from Panama is a complex and medium-sweet rum, aged up to 25 years in a solera system. The humid and tropical climate provides perfect conditions for the rum to mature quickly in the heat compared to the temperate climate in Europe.
When nosing this Ron Cueva Sueno Del Chagres 25 Panama rum, you'll detect roasted coffee beans, tropical fruits, dark chocolate, and vanilla. The taste is velvety with notes of dates, raisins, caramel, cherries, and warm spices (cinnamon and cloves). The finish is persistent, complemented by cinnamon, apples, and dark chocolate.
The name Ron Cueva refers to the Cueva tribe, discovered in Panama in 1501 by the Spanish conquerors. Unfortunately, the Cueva tribe died out as early as 1535 due to their struggle against the Spanish and the diseases brought from Europe. In addition to honoring the past, Ron Cueva also helps improve the quality of life for indigenous tribes through various projects that benefit the communities.
