Stauning Dry Gin
Stauning Dry Gin is the first gin from Stauning, who have been (world)famous for many years for their exciting series of Danish whisky. The new gin is crafted with the same high regard for craftsmanship and is based on classic gin ingredients and local produce.
The recipe is simple: juniper, coriander seeds, angelica root, orris root, liquorice root, lemon peel, and locally harvested pine shoots. All ingredients steep in alcohol for 24 hours before being distilled together (as a "London Dry Gin") in a small copper pot still. The result is a smooth, elegant, and well-balanced gin.
Stauning Dry Gin is a fresh and aromatic gin with a clear taste of juniper. It has notes of citrus, a mild spice, subtle herbaceous notes, and a delicate hint of pine.
All in all, a smooth, handcrafted, Danish gin in a beautiful bottle offering fantastic value for money. "What's not to like"...
