Cihuatán Folklore Selección Nordica rum is the first release in Cihuatán's Creación series, which has been curated by master blender Gabriela Ayala to highlight the interplay between oak cask and rum. For the series, she hand-picked 13 different casks from Cihuatán's private reserves and selected this 17-year-old rum from a former cognac cask for her Selección Nordica, which is bottled exclusively for the Nordic market. Cihuatán Folklore Selección Nordica rum has aromas of vanilla, caramel, and cooked fruits, and with a few drops of water, it even gains a hint of roasted almonds. The taste is strong and spicy with notes of oak, mint chocolate, and almonds, as well as a hint of pickled cherries and tobacco, which emerge with a few drops of water. 53.6% – 70 cl.

Cihuatan Rum is produced by Licorera Cihuatan S.A. de C.V in El Salvador, and it is said to be the first rum from El Salvador. The Cihuatan rum series includes Solera 8 Year and Solera 12 Year.
