Limited Batch Series Ghana RomdeLuxe is the 5th rum in the Limited Batch Series (LBS) from the independent bottler RomdeLuxe, and this aged Ghana rum is a follow-up to the white Ghana edition previously released in the same series. The purpose of the LBS rum series is to release rums with their own unique character for the curious rum drinker or connoisseur who wants to try something very special in a very limited quantity. Limited Batch Series Ghana rum is part of a development project in Ghana, and the rum is made from freshly pressed sugarcane juice and pot still distilled. The aging of Limited Batch Series Ghana RomdeLuxe took place in Denmark in a 130-liter American Virgin Oak cask, where the rum developed so quickly that it was ready for bottling after only 7 months, and only 188 bottles were released at cask strength. The aroma offers notes of vanilla, leather, wood, and toffee, while the taste is characterized by dark berries, Demerara sugar, leather, and tobacco. 60.3% ABV - 70 cl.
