Santa Teresa 1796 Rum

The award-winning Santa Teresa 1796 Ron Antiguo de Solera Rum has a minimum age of 15 years - but there are also much older rums in the blend. In fact, rumor has it that the rum contains rum elements up to 80 years old. The rum's style is an elegant cross between Guatemala and Guyana rums.

Nose: light, spicy, rubbery, sweet, fresh, cinnamon/cardamom, vanilla, melted sugar/syrup, light brown sugar and cane sugar. Taste: light, fresh, sweet, then come the spices, vanilla, very complex and balanced. A very elegant rum. Finish: just enough oak, oily and a spicy, sweet-and-sour sensation. Santa Teresa 1796 Ron Antiguo de Solera Rum 15 years won a silver medal at the 2010 International Rum Expert Panel. 40% – 70 cl.

Santa Teresa rum is from Venezuela, just like the highly acclaimed Ron Diplomatico rum series. Santa Teresa 1796 Ron Antiguo is the most popular product, and this rum is made using the Solera method with distillates that are up to 15 years old. The series also includes the exclusive Santa Teresa Bicentenario AJ Vollmer Rum 25-year edition, which, however, due to very limited quantities, is difficult to find and therefore often sold out.
