SBS Jamaica 2020 WPE Rombo Edition is a molasses-based single cask rum, distilled in a pot still in 2020. The rum has matured in an ex-bourbon cask and was bottled at a strength of 63.3% vol in November 2023. It is not chill-filtered, and no additives have been used.

The rum originates from Worthy Park in Jamaica and carries the marque WPE, which stands for Worthy Park Extra. This marque has the highest ester level produced by Worthy Park, reaching up to 800 gr/hL AA. As Worthy Park is typically known for producing rums with ester levels in the lower to medium end of the scale, we find this rum particularly exciting, as it represents a different expression from the distillery.

SBS Jamaica 2020 WPE Rombo Edition is limited to only 118 bottles and has been exclusively bottled for Rombo. 63.3% - 70 cl.

SBS stands for Single Barrel Selection, and this series of rums is produced by the Danish rum importer, 1423 ApS, who are also behind brands such as Ron Esclavo. The SBS Rum releases are generally unsweetened (without added sugar), non-chill filtered, and at a higher alcohol strength (some of the SBS rum bottlings are even bottled at cask strength).
