From a passion for rum to a specialist shop
Rombo was founded by Paw Vad as an online shop in 2011. It all began with a memorable rum experience that inspired him to discover more and share his enthusiasm with others.
At the time, there was a lack of dedicated rum shops. Paw therefore decided to create raombo.com. What was originally intended to be a hobby shop grew within a few years into an online shop with the largest selection of rum in the Nordic countries, complemented by whisky, gin, other spirits, wine and sparkling wine.
Visit our shop in Frederiksberg
In 2017, we opened our physical shop at Falkonér Allé 46 in Frederiksberg. Here, you can browse the bottles in welcoming surroundings and get personal advice.
In the shop, you can meet Paw and Pelle, who have specialist knowledge of everything from rum and whisky to gin and cigars. They are always happy to help you find just the right choice.
A great experience. Online and in our shop
Whether you shop online or visit us in Frederiksberg, we want you to have a great experience. That is why we are delighted with the excellent reviews our customers have given us on Trustpilot and Google.
We are also proud to offer quality products at competitive prices, both in our shop and online.
Tastings and shared experiences
Great tasting experiences and good company are part of Rombo's DNA. That is why we have hosted rum tastings and other tasting events since the shop first opened.
We typically host 8-10 rum tastings a year in the shop, as well as several whisky tastings. We also occasionally host gin tastings, wine tastings and other tasting experiences.
If there is no tasting on the calendar, there is probably one in the works. We regularly announce new tastings here on our website, on Facebook and in our newsletter.
