Compagnie Des Indes Guyana 14 Year Old Small Batch rum is from the congenial Frenchman Florent Beuchet, who is behind the independent rum bottler, Compagnie des Indes (CDI). This particular Guyana edition is a 14-year-old rum distilled at DDL (Demerara Distillers Ltd.), and the rum has undergone a final maturation in used armagnac casks at CDI in France. Compagnie Des Indes Guyana 14 ans is a "high proof" single cask release at cask strength, with only 479 bottles produced. 61.2% ABV - 70 cl.

Compagnie des Indes is an independent rum bottler. Florent Beuchet is the likeable Frenchman behind these rum bottlings, which focus on a number of renowned distilleries such as Foursquare (Barbados), Uitvlugt/DDL (Guyana), Worthy Park (Jamaica), and Caroni from Trinidad (now closed). Florent Beucher is true to the concept of authentic rum, so Compagnie des Indes is, with few exceptions, produced without added sugar.
