Planteray (formerly "Plantation") Rum Overproof OFTD 69% is blended specifically to be used in cocktails rather than as a sipping rum, and it can really liven up a Mai Tai. That being said, the rum can still be enjoyed neat, even though it's strong, and has both flavour and character.

Nose: coffee, orange, plums, jam, and truffle. Taste: caramel cream, chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon, raisin, nutmeg, oak, and molasses.
