Rum Nation Pot Still Jamaica 2016 was initially aged at the Worthy Park distillery in St. Catherine. The rum was then further aged by Rum Nation in primarily Oloroso Sherry casks, but also a smaller portion of Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, before the final blending. The aroma and taste are "typically Jamaican" complex and aromatic, but with the added sherry/raisin note. The Rum Nation Pot Still Jamaica 2016 Release 5-year-old rum follows the very popular 8-year 2015 Release edition. 50% - 700 ml.

Rum Nation was founded by Italian Fabio Rossi, who released his first rum in 1999, and Rum Nation is a so-called "independent bottler," as is also the case with, for example, Planteray (formerly Plantation).
