Samaroli Over the World 2015 2nd Edition Rum is produced by the Italian company Samaroli, who bottled this blended rum from Fiji, Jamaica, Barbados, and Guyana after aging in Scotland in September 2016. Samaroli's master blender composed the rum from the single casks released in 2015, including those from Uitvlugt and Hampden. This is a limited release of only 260 bottles. Italian independent bottler Samaroli has produced whisky since 1968 and rum since 1980. They purchase casks from various locations in the Caribbean, South and Central America, and the Pacific, which are then transported to Scotland for maturation and bottling. This means that some of Samaroli Rum's aging occurs slowly and under controlled conditions, and bottling usually takes place from a single cask (single cask bottling) instead of blending.
